What We Do?

We do small to medium scale industrial automation projects at competitive price Australia-wide based in Melbourne. These projects include PLC/HMI programming for the new as well as old machines. Sometimes, the structure of the machine works fine after decades of service while the controller gets outdated, or the operator panel is very much difficult to understand or the electronics parts are unavailable, there we remap the whole control system that includes user friendly HMIs, new state of the art controllers and redesign the electric panel layout as per Australian standards. This retrofit covers any type of machines, plants, CNC, and robots. Sometimes, we do integrate the high-speed servo system and latest vision-based sensor technology to increase the efficiency of machine.

We also design and fabricate special purpose machines that are used to perform specific tasks that are not generally available off the shelf, or the existing machines are redesigned to increase the productivity. However, we have a team of skilled Mechanical Engineer who are specialised in CAD/CAM/CAE there we do CAD model, design, and generate engineering drawings as per Australian standards.

We also provide maintenance services and research-based projects in industrial automation domain that includes Robot integration and vision-based systems. We have served food, medical, agriculture, packaging, and manufacturing industries in last six years.

Automation Solutions

Automation Solution

This was 3 Axis double head Oxy and Plasma metal cutting machine. The problem was the Torch Height Controller (THC) that was working perfect with oxy cutting however with the plasma it works very slow that result in low production. We replaced the existing capacitive THC with the Proma THC 150 that works with voltages of the plasma torch and hence the machine can cut thin parts as 60% efficiently as compare to touch sensor with improved cutting quality.

This project was developed to fit the nails on the dial clock automatically. If the nail does not sit properly and the force is not controlled. The dial can be broken, or it will not work properly. We used the force control sensors to discipline the height using force instead of pre-existing location. This process also includes high accuracy position control servo motors with micron accuracy ball screw. This small project took a lot of time to achieve the result due to force sensitivity requirement.

The existing controller was working fine however, servos needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, this machine was 30 years old, and the frame size was not available off the shelf. However, we redesign the whole coupling and the motor frame support to match the previous fitting for avoiding any damage or work on the machine. Later, the servo was tuned as per load/inertia requirement.

This was a project to install a controller and PLC on a 6 axes machine that was designed for welding purposes. The new controller has the tendency to connect with vision technology that helps to speed up the process by integrating with the welding system. This helps the machine to automatically adjust the torch of the welder to the welding object. The operator interface was also very easy as compare to old controller that helped to reduce the setup time.

We use AutoCAD electrical for all design purposes that also includes layout and BOM. This panel was designed for an old excavator since that was parked because of shutting down very often in a week. However, we developed the new panel with improved performance and general components that will be readily available for next decade.

The prominent jobs are machine design, civil mechanical structure and earthmoving equipment that includes buckets, rippers etc. We also do CNC programming services for a wide range of machines up to 5 axes with probing. This machine was design for a customer in Jewellery industry. The requirement was a 9 axes metal cutting machine with micron accuracy on the head as some of jewellery designs are very delicate.

Therefore, we keep multiple reviewers of the drawings before releasing on the floor. This project was for civil industry.

The issue is identified and resolved in timely manner by interrogating the hardware failures in the remote, organising the components and repair the board since the latest remote was not compatible to old machine.
